We want to equip the men of our church to stand firm in their convictions and lead their families toward Christ. Men’s Fraternity is a group of men committed to supporting one another in their Christian faith through prayer, fellowship and Bible study. At a Wednesday night meeting, you will meet a community of men of all ages and in all stages of faith committed to growing their personal relationships with God. Each meeting has a time of worship, a time to study God’s word and a time of fellowship. In addition to their weekly Bible studies, Men’s Fraternity also hosts scheduled events throughout the year where men are able to connect, have fun and maintain growth and accountability in their personal faith.
The men’s ministry here at First Assembly have been partnering with a ministry here in Shelby County called Old West Special Trails. This ministry uses horses and horseback riding to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to see Him change the lives of families.
We help special needs kids and teenagers ride horses in the covered arena at Old West. The men of First Assembly did this in the Spring and it was life changing for many of our guys and the family's.
