Recreational Sports' Policies

To provide a Christian atmosphere for all of the children on all of our teams
All registration forms will be online. Fill in the form for every participant and pay for all at one time with an e-check or credit card.
To insure that your child will have a place on a team, please make sure you register online during our registration time. Any late registrations will be subject to a $10 late fee. Late registrants are not guaranteed a spot.

Refund Policy
If participants are unable to play a sport that they have registered for, a full refund minus a $10 refund processing fee will be issued prior to the registration deadline. When our registration time is over, refunds will not be made. If there are not enough participants for a team and the team is cancelled, a full refund will be issued.

Zero Tolerance
First Assembly Memphis strictly observes a no tolerance policy to the attitudes and behaviors of those coaching, participating, spectating or in any way associated with our recreation activities. This policy is to ensure a safe and fun atmosphere for all of our children.

Coaching and Volunteering Applications
All prospective coaches and volunteers, even those having previously volunteered, must apply annually prior to the start of the season. This application includes a background check and will be valid for all sports during the calendar year.

Authorization, Insurance Release and Agreement
All sports carry risks. First Assembly Memphis will not be responsible for any injury that you or any of your family members may incur while playing any of the sports we offer. In order to play you must agree to participate at your own risk and not pursue any claim against First Assembly Memphis or any person affiliated with First Assembly Memphis.

Team Organization and Selection
All players will be assigned to a team based on their age group. We do not place players in response to parent requests. Although we want your child to have a great experience, we do not rearrange teams based on being in the same class at school, close friendships, etc. Thank you for your understanding in this matter. It is our goal for your child to meet new friends and expand his or her friendship base.
We will reserve the right to make team and/or player adjustments due to major conflicts between players, or in extreme cases, conflicts involving transportation. These instances are the exception—not the rule.
